How to Draw Manga Hair

Manga hair is very attractive, those bangs, wavy hair, curly hair, frizzy, and very long-hair for female. And really good-looking hair for male. This is the part where you can have a lot fun!
The hair never lies flat always remember that.

Here are some example of adorable manga hair.

 

Start the hairline on the scalp.

(Don't worry with your mistakes, you can adjust and remove it later.)

Next step is to follow the curve of the head. It shourld rise from the scalp to show some thickness.
If you choose to draw wavy or curly hair, it should look smooth. If you choose to draw long hair keep your pencil strokes smooth and stroke it long.

How to Draw the Mouth

In reality, we dont have the same size and shape of mouth.
In manga, mouth can be left as a simple line, lips can be stretch, smiling, pouting, or even falling off.

1. Start with a straight line and the basic shape of the lips.

2. Develop the shape, the corner of the lips turn upward, and there is a dip at the center of the upper lips. It follows the dip beneath the nose.












3. Add details, it depends on you on how you want the lips to be look like. Add some
 gap between the lower lip and the chin and outline the lips with small lines.
