How to Draw the Eyes

Manga eyes are very attractive and sparkling.
It shows full of emotions. Different kinds of eyes project different characteristic. There are many ways to draw manga eyes ( shouju style- are big eyed manga characters).

   Female eyes
the iris in female is larger than it is in male eyes. Add eyelashes in upper and lower part of the eyes to make it look catchy. The eyebrow is not too heavy.

Eyes are pretty interchangeable between gender, Male eyes have no long eyelashes, the iris is smaller than female eyes and eyebrows are slightly heavy.


Put shine and other details to the eyes, remember that manga eyes are sparkling! the top shine is always larger, then make the pupil central dark and around the iris ( this is optional).
